You will learn the parts on your wheel, additional tools used in making yarn, how to prepare and draft fiber, how to ply yarn, how to take your yarn off the wheel, and how to set the twist. You will also learn how to make both a 2-ply and a chain ply yarn together in this class. You will also be introduced to using a drum carder to make your own batts and rolags for spinning. Before you know it, you will fall into the rhythmic and meditative world of hand spinning! \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe class is a two-session class.  In the first class, learn all about your wheel and the basics of how to spin on your wheel.
