It's made for spinning thick singles and plying heavy yarn, with slower ratios and a wide orifice that give thick yarn the gentle twist and the room it needs. Kromski makes one jumbo flyer for both wheels, and its jumbo bobbin holds 1.6 times what a regular Kromski bobbin does.

Fits

Kromski Prelude and Interlude

Ratios on a Prelude

5.5, 7 and 9:1

Ratios on an Interlude

5.5, 8.3 and 11:1

Orifice

0.7 in (the regular flyer's is 3/8 in)

Bobbin capacity

300g/10.7oz, about two and a half braids

In the box

Jumbo flyer with its whorl built in, one jumbo bobbin and front maiden post

Finish

Unfinished, Clear, Walnut or Mahogany, to match your wheel

To fit it, swap your wheel's front maiden post for the one in the set.
