These 50/50 Alpaca/Tussah Silk Tops are a perfect balance of the finest luxury fibers blended together to produce a uniquely soft and silky handle. With a long staple length of 4-7 inches and a micron count between 18-20, these fibers are a breeze to spin and require very little preparation. The silk adds an over lustrous sheen to the finished fabric or yarn, this radiance mixed with the silky Alpaca creates a gorgeous fashion-forward 'tweed-like' metallic effect.
