Bockens

Bockens is spun by Holma-Helsinglands in Forsa, Hälsingland, a Swedish mill founded in 1898 as the region's first mechanical flax spinning operation. We stock four families of it, and they do different jobs.

  • 8/2 cotton, 29 colors, the towel and table linen workhorse.
  • 20/2 cotton, finer, for warping table runners and fine cloth.
  • 16/2 line linen, 60 colors, crisp and lustrous for table linen and clothing.
  • Linen rug warp in 8/3, 8/4 and 8/5, and cotton seine twine in 12/6, 12/9 and 20/6, for rugs and tapestry.
