About Kromski

Kromski and Sons is a third-generation family business. Leon Kromski opened his first wood-turning shop in Poland in 1918. The Second World War paused production, and his son revived the business in the 1960s with the family's first spinning wheels. Today the Kromski workshop builds spinning and weaving tools that pair traditional craftsmanship with refined design, made to be used and admired in equal measure.

The Kromski Lineup

The range spans traditional treadle wheels, folding travel wheels, and modern designs. The Polonaise and Symphony are full-size traditional wheels with the classic Kromski silhouette. The Minstrel is a compact castle-style single-drive wheel, and the Prelude is the entry-level option. The Sonata Encore folds into a carry bag for travel, the Interlude is a folding traditional wheel, and the Fantasia is Kromski's modern double-treadle flagship with a magnetic flyer system and sliding hooks.

Choosing Your Kromski Wheel

For a heritage silhouette and double-drive control, look at the Symphony or Polonaise. For a smaller footprint that still honors traditional design, the Minstrel or Prelude fit tighter spaces and tighter budgets. For travel, the Sonata Encore folds into its own carry bag. For the most refined modern Kromski experience, the Fantasia is the current flagship.

Parts and Accessories

Bobbins, flyer kits, replacement parts, and maintenance supplies are stocked for every Kromski wheel. Common items include Kromski colored bobbins, drive and brake bands, and the Fantasia maintenance kit.
