Details
The Ashford Knitters Loom is the rigid heddle that folds in half with the warp still on it, in three weaving widths from 12 in to 28 in. It arrives assembled and lacquered with its padded carry bag, so you unfold it, stand the reed blocks up and warp. The blocks take two reeds, so a second reed is all you add for double heddle weaving.
Three widths, with or without the stand
All three share the fold, the lacquered finish and a wide-eye 7.5 dpi reed, and each comes with a bag of its own width. All three weave scarves to shawls, and the width you choose is the width of cloth you want in one piece. A loom holds one warp at a time, so a narrow one beside a wider loom is a normal thing to own. The Knitters Loom Stand adjusts to all three widths and holds the loom at a weaving angle with no table. If you're torn, call or chat with us.

Spare reeds, bags and add-ons
The reed in the box is the Knitters Loom Reed in your width, a lacquered series of its own, and a spare or a second reed is the same part. Finer yarn takes a finer reed, and 5/2 or 10/2 cotton wants 12.5 or 15 dpi. The Vari Dent reed mixes thick and thin yarns in one warp. Cardboard warp sticks, cross sticks and pick-up sticks come by width, and the carry bag is the same one in the box.
For a loom you build yourself from bare beech, the SampleIt Loom weaves narrower, and the 16 in SampleIt is its wider twin. For longer warps and indirect warping, the Rigid Heddle Loom runs up to 48 in with warping holes under the loom.
