The Ashford Joy Freedom Flyer Kit (SHFJFK) is a jumbo art yarn flyer for the Joy. Its open sliding hooks and 1 in orifice let carded batts, feathers, fabric and ribbon through. It has sliding hooks, and the bobbin it takes is the Jumbo Bobbin.

Cut the brake band to length and screw the flyer onto the top shaft. A Joy made before 2002 needs the new top shaft first. With this flyer on, the Joy doesn't fold, so put your regular sliding hook flyer back on when you travel.
