Majacraft's standard plastic bobbins are molded in ABS plastic, chosen specifically to minimize the noise made by the tension string in the groove. Cutout end plates keep the weight down and let you keep an eye on your yarn while spinning.
Because ABS is a softer plastic, Majacraft integrated high quality polymer bearings inside the bobbin shaft for long lasting durability. They may be tricky to spot, but they are there. Drive pin holes are also included, making these bobbins compatible with the Majacraft Aura.

For Yarn, check your pattern's yardage requirements. A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
