This large and cozy sideways-knit rectangular shaped shawl is inspired by the beautiful tile work you see everywhere in the city of Lisbon. Garter stripes and intriguing mosaic motifs work up beautifully wishing you could be knitting in the streets of Lisbon. The inspirational tile designs can be seen on walls, houses, sidewalks, and many public places throughout the city of Lisbon.

This pattern comes with fully written and charted instructions so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

Different alternating sections with three mosaic parts make this pattern a fun and engaging knit, resulting in a cozy item to highlight your daily wardrobe.

Mosaic knitting is an easy color work technique that uses slipped stitches and only one color at a time, which makes for fun knitting and striking results.
