A Staff Reflection on JoAnn Store Closures: What’s Next for Crafters
One of our staff reflects on what JoAnn stores closures mean to many crafters, fiber arts included.
We have run out of stock for this item.
A double back beam is a helpful accessory to add to your loom for weave structures such as warp pile, supplementary warp, and Bedford cord. Installation is straightforward, using holes that have been pre-drilled in the loom. Double beams come with a separate brake.
A double back beam allows separate tensions for 2 different material types or thicknesses. For example, if you're using a thick yarn as well as a thin yarn on your warp normally the tension would be either too loose or too tight but with the Double back beam you can tension each yarn type individually!
Included are: 1 – Double Warp Beam Brake Release Pedal, 1 – Double Warp Beam Brake Hold, 2 – Double Back Beam Fold-up Supports (1 – Left, 1 – Right), 2 – Double Warp Beam Supports, 1 – Double Square Beam, 1 – Special Double Warp Beam (with attached brake hub and crank pivot bolt support), 2 – Apron Bars, 2 – Lease Sticks, all associated hardware, instructions for both new and pre-January 1, 1990 looms.
