All Caught Up in Cotton Blends
Cotton blends - what are they, why choose them, and all the perks about cotton!
The Cressida Shawl is a lovely crochet design kitted with 3 skeins of hand-dyed, 100% extrafine merino Urth Yarns Harvest Fingering Yarn. Aptly named after the Greek chrysos meaning "golden," this gilded beauty will have you in love with our Urth Yarns Harvest Yarn. You will need a USF/3.75mm crochet hook to complete this masterpiece.
Urth Yarns dyes their yarn with hand-dyed with roots, fruits, and nuts, giving the yarn luscious colors from neutrals to a vibrant Citrus-yellow. Each skein is named for the natural dye used and the extrafine merino is a dream.
This pattern is initially written by the Berrocco Design Team for Berroco Ultra Wool Fine; so you will want to test your gauge before breaking into this beautiful project. Both are extrafine-fingering weight yarns, so once you have your tension locked in you should have nothing to fear.

Happy Crocheting!
When you choose Urth Yarns you are supporting a workforce of strong women who hand-dye their yarns in Mersin and Istanbul. Each Urth Yarns skein purchased plants a tree as part of the #knitoneplantone movement. One Cressida kit purchased plants 3 trees! Join us in helping Trees for the Future in their mission to provide families with tools and knowledge to plant trees in Africa.
"Planting trees provides families with more than just food. It provides income, empowerment, unity, leadership, education and even saves lives. When we can teach people to value themselves and their environment, they see amazing improvements in their standard of living."
