Kromski's Polonaise Spinning Wheel is an enticingly beautiful wheel in the traditional Norwegian style, the design rooted in the rich beginnings of spinning wheel history. With a magnificently graceful 24" diameter and single or double drive capabilities, this wheel was designed with longevity and ease in mind. Suspended pin and socket bearings, adjustable screws, as well as expansive speed/ratio options provide virtually effortless treadling and flexibility to spinners of all experience levels. This masterfully designed wheel is available in unfinished, finished clear, mahogany, and walnut and includes Separate Vertical Lazy Kate (3 bobbin capacity), 3 bobbins, Threading Hook, and Spinning Wheel Oil. You will truly feel like a fairytale prince or princess with the eloquent features and dependable performance of the Polonaise in your home.
Jumbo Flyer kits expand the spinners range in two ways. First, the type of yarn created can vary from lace-weight to super bulky art yarn because of the larger orifice on the jumbo flyer. Subsequently, the jumbo bobbin allows spinners twice the capacity of the regular Kromski bobbin. A regular Kromski bobbin already offers 50% greater space than most standard bobbins in the industry with a generous 4.2 ounce capacity. Jumbo bobbins double that, essentially allowing you to spin two regular bobbins worth without a bobbin change!! This means longer, continual drafts for skeins with greater yardage.
