Fiber Club Enhancements: How We're Making It Better for You

Hey Fiber Friends! We have some housekeeping announcements regarding Fiber Club! 2024 and 2025 have been full of highs and lows, and we are honored to have such a wonderful community of fiber art enthusiasts at our back. It’s been a bumpy ride, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. We wouldn’t be here without you; we cannot adequately express our gratitude. 

Since our proverbial and literal rise from the ashes, Paradise Fibers has been on a mission to rebuild better than we were before, plus our determination to provide you the best possible service. As we rebuilt, we asked ourselves and each other, “How can Paradise Fibers better serve its customers?” and “If we change X, would it benefit our customers?” These questions helped us identify several areas for improvement. Our team worked hard over the last few months to move towards improvements, and we are proud of the changes that were implemented to give you the best experience possible.

Everyone here at Paradise Fibers is particularly proud of the store’s focus on providing customers with hands-on support. You, the customer, will always be our central focus. From offering product recommendations tailored to your needs and skill level, lending a hand if your project is giving you trouble, or teaching you a new skill, Paradise Fibers is committed to providing comprehensive, personalized, hands-on assistance. With that in mind, we are working toward reinstating our in-house community events, setting up guided classes, and finding new ways to give back to our community! Our team has been working diligently behind the scenes to get the ball rolling; it’s taken coordination and time.

While we are proud of our work to bring our goals to life, we must admit we let our ambitions get the better of us. At the end of the day, Paradise Fibers is still a small, family-owned business. About a dozen employees are on staff, half working part-time, and even with several team members focused on sustainable, long-term growth, Paradise Fibers has recently experienced significant growing pains, especially with our Fiber Club. This imbalance of ambition and staff capacity caused our quality of service to wobble. We recognize that the service you have received over the past few months does not reflect our commitment to quality, and we humbly ask that you continue to bear with us and give us another chance to exceed your expectations.

In our efforts to improve your experience, we spread ourselves too thin, which, in turn, affected the quality of your service. Putting Fiber Club together is time-consuming. We want to give our staff more time to curate something wondrous that will spark creativity. We also prepare and assemble it by hand before your subscription is sent out.

In addition to juggling Fiber Club with a small team, we’ve struggled to respond quickly to external factors causing delays, making our team feel like they can hardly breathe between each monthly subscription. With current events and our team’s small size in mind, we went back to the Fiber Club drawing board and asked ourselves, “How can we bring the Fiber Club quality up to where we want it to be?” After much deliberation, we concluded that the best way to provide consistently on-time and high-quality Fiber Club subscriptions is to move from a monthly model to a bi-monthly (every other month) subscription. Giving our team more time to prepare and be better equipped to respond to disruption in our supply chain while enabling us to improve the quality and value of your subscription.

This was not an easy decision, and we know this news may be disappointing to some, but we are confident that this is the way to provide you with the best service possible. Your feedback also influenced the decision to move to a bi-monthly model. Many of you told us there is not enough time between club deliveries to enjoy your Fiber Club goodies. You also told us that receiving some items in a second package was frustrating and that inconsistent delivery dates left you confused and disappointed. Decreasing the frequency of your subscriptions to every other month will give us the time we need for new ideas and to source materials without creating a mad scramble that impacts the quality and value of your subscription. This change will also give you more time to use your fiber and avoid a backlog of materials taking up space in your stash.

Another change influenced by your feedback is that Fiber Club will no longer be a mystery. Moving forward, will keep you informed with pictures and detailed descriptions found on a dedicated page of our website. By posting the contents of your subscription online, we can offer more transparency to those who would prefer to know what to expect. Of course, if you prefer mystery and surprise, you can skip those details and still have the “Ooh!” factor when you get your delivery!

With our move to a bi-monthly model, we’re also updating the Fiber Club price to bring you more value. For U.S. customers, the new price is $54.99 per subscription, including shipping. While this is an increase, it means one larger, higher-quality package every two months—rather than two smaller, inconsistent ones that previously cost around $70.

For Canadian customers, the price will be $59.99, including shipping. For international customers outside the U.S. and Canada, the price remains $59.99, but shipping will no longer be included due to unpredictable costs. This change allows us to keep Fiber Club available worldwide while maintaining its quality and value.

We’re excited about these changes and confident they’ll make Fiber Club even better!

We know this is a big shift, and we truly appreciate your support as we work to improve Fiber Club for everyone. While we hope you’ll love the enhanced quality and experience, we understand it may not be for everyone. If, after a couple of shipments, you decide it’s not the right fit, you can cancel your subscription anytime.

We’ll keep you updated along the way and continue striving to make Paradise Fibers the best it can be. Your support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful for this incredible community.
