This Guernsey style cowl uses almost 400 yards of sport weight yarn and is perfect match with our Elemental Affects Civility Sport Hi-Twist Yarn. It's a quick knit and will be your go to knitted gift.

Elemental Affects Civility Sport Hi-Twist Yarn uses U.S. Merino fleece and imported silk. The two fibers really play "Civilly" together -- hence the name. With just enough silk to the fine Merino fleece, Elemental Affects has produced a yarn that is both luxurious and strong, while remaining soft and squishy! The added silk really gives a beautiful drape to this cowl.

Although a blended yarn, we still consider it to be breed-specific -- with bling! Using a U.S. grown Merino wool sourced through a top processor for it's consistency, availability, length and (for softness) micron count. For sheen and luxury, 30% Mulberry silk does the trick.
