Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece Yarn
- Cavern CW005
is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece yarn is a unique blend of soft Pima Cotton and Merino Wool. This DK weight yarn has a cabled construction that will give you excellent stitch definition. The matte finish of Cotton Fleece is available in over 50 colors and unlike other cotton yarns, it doesn't hurt your hands while you knit. The wool provides a little give and helps your finished project hold its shape without feeling heavy like some 100% cotton yarns do. Knit a cute summer top, a baby blanket, or a scarf! It shows off cables as beautifully as lace stitch patterns.
Brown Sheep Yarns are permanently moth proofed using a non-insecticide; from their FAQ:
We use a non-insecticide chemical called Ecolan CEA to moth-proof our wool. It is added to the dye bath at the same time as the dyes and is “permanent” in the sense that it will not wash, rub, or dry clean off the wool. The treatment works as an insect resist agent by making the wool protein unpalatable to the wool moth larvae.
