Truly a maker’s carryall, the Satchel, once a best-selling bag in our Namaste line, has been reimagined as a chic doctor’s bag and is the largest handbag available in our Lotus Collection. Now equipped with a hard case opening, great for keeping your bag propped open to knit or crochet out of, a strong, flat bottom with feet, to keep its shape even when resting on the floor, two secure clasp closures to keep projects and valuables safe inside, and plenty of pockets and room for projects.Â
The Satchel, like all Makers bags in our Lotus Collection, features soft genuine leather with brass accents, an adjustable shoulder strap, and maker-specific accessories including a yarn feeder and cutter, a decorative pin with 3 emergency lotus stitch markers.Â

Each fiber has its own feel and function. Merino is super soft and great for next-to-skin wear. BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) is strong, with a lovely luster. Need help deciding? Reach out! We’re happy to help.
For Yarn, check your pattern's yardage requirements. A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
