SpinOlution

Every SpinOlution is built to order, which normally means buying one you have never sat at. We keep a Monarch, a Pollywog and an Echo on the floor here in Spokane. Come and spin them before you decide.

SpinOlution makes spinning wheels, bobbins, flyer heads, engraving, and studio accessories in the USA. The full vendor catalog lives here in one place. For wheels on their own, see the dedicated SpinOlution Spinning Wheels collection.

About SpinOlution

SpinOlution has designed and built spinning wheels in the USA since 2008. Production consolidated to California in 2025 under new leadership, with the same focus that has shaped the line from the start. Each wheel is built around a specific use case rather than trying to be everything to everyone, and every moving component runs on multiple bearing systems for a smooth, low-resistance treadle that owners often describe as "liquid gold." The same engineering and finish carry into the rest of the catalog: Baltic birch bobbins, modular flyer heads, drive bands, lazy kates, and engraving.

Buying One From Us

Whoever you order from, the wheel gets built for you and takes two to six weeks. So what matters isn't who ships fastest. It's the configuration: which flyer package, which bobbin sizes, how the orifice is set up for the yarn you want to make. You choose once and live with it, and no spec table chooses for you.

That's better decided with your hands, and our demo wheels are there to be spun on. Some of what these wheels do is easy to walk past on paper. You can change a bobbin in about ten seconds, lifting the flyer bar off and dropping the next one on, no peg to thread and no tools. The orifice hook can be bypassed completely when you want to run a thick art yarn straight through.

We sell and repair every major wheel brand, so when we tell you a SpinOlution suits the way you spin, it's because we've watched people spin on all of them. Take our spinning class and we credit the class fee toward a wheel, with fiber 10% off on class days. Afterwards our bench services wheels from every maker, and we keep bobbins, flyer heads and drive bands on the shelf. Spokane's spinning shop since 1997, and one of SpinOlution's Top Tier Dealers.
