One of our favorite features of the SpinOlution wheel collection is the Magnetic Hook Orifice & Bobbins. Set-up is easy & you'll be spinning in no time with your Firefly!

Now ships with the 2026 birch-tone 3D-printed PETG whorl. Same ratios as the 2023 to 2025 black PETG whorl, with an updated finish for visual cohesion across the wheel.

The open hook orifice allows you to spin bulky, ply creative, or add embellishments. A tube orifice accessory is also available to add to any flyer head if you prefer spinning with a closed orifice.

The Firefly is a modular electric spinning wheel. Within the base is a rechargeable battery that holds approximately 14 hours of spin time for cordless spinning. The Firefly is equivalent to an electric Monarch Wheel. Combining state of the art engineering & durable design with the power of electricity, this dynamic, multi-purpose spinning wheel is just right for any spinner!

Ratios

The Firefly has no fixed ratios. It is electric, and speed comes from the knob rather than from moving a band between whorls. The drive band runs on the middle whorl and stays there. The other whorls exist because the flyer heads are shared with the Monarch, which is a treadle wheel and does use them.

Turn the speed up for fine and short staple fibers, down for bulky and textured spinning.
