These handy spools will hold approximately 1/2 pound or 227 grams of the yarn of your choice. Use them with a spool rack and tension box to make sectional winding on easier, or as storage bobbins for your handspun.Â
These spools are 4" End to End, The end whorls are 2 3/4" Wide, the through-hole is 5/16" Wide, & the core is 9/16" Wide.
Made of Styrene plastic, they'll hold up to any daily abuse you can throw at them.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
