Latah Valley Fiber Co. Sock Yarn

Locally dyed • Spokane inspired • Truly one of a kind

Locally dyed and inspired by some of Spokane’s most iconic landmarks, Latah Valley Fiber Co. Sock is a super special yarn with deep roots in our Pacific Northwest community. Each colorway draws from a beloved Spokane location, from the calm, winding Centennial Trail, to the blooms of the Lilac Festival, the power of Spokane Falls, and the timeless charm of the Clocktower.

Soft, durable, and beautifully hand-dyed, this sock-weight yarn is perfect for socks, shawls, lightweight sweaters, and accessories that carry a little piece of Spokane with them. These colorways are for locals and for anyone who loves yarn with a story behind it.

Sold individually. Images may display multiple skeins for color reference and variation.

Details:

Fiber: 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon

Weight: Fingering

Yardage: Approx. 437 yards per 100g skein

Care: Superwash treated, so it will not felt or shrink the way untreated wool does. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry. Wash separately the first time, since hand dyed colors can release a little excess dye.

Hand-dyed in Spokane, Washington

  • “Blooms on Browne” – soft lilac, pale blush, and silvery gray (like morning light on the city’s spring flowers).

  • “Manito Garden” – lavender, rose pink, and leaf green with a touch of cream (inspired by Manito Park’s gardens).

  • "Lilac Festival” – bright lilac, magenta, and white with confetti-like speckles for the parade atmosphere.

  • “Snowy Palouse” – cream, soft blue, and wheat tones (evoking the rolling hills in winter).

  • "Spokane Falls" – deep turquoise, frothy white, and rock gray (inspired by the roaring falls at the heart of the city).

  • "Centennial Trail" – earthy green, dusty brown, and denim blue (a natural palette inspired by the trail and riverbanks).

  • “Clocktower Mist” – slate gray, sky blue, and cream (a nod to the landmark clocktower and fog over the river).

  • "Garland District" – deep blue, warm cream, and burnt orange with hints of green woven throughout (inspired by the eclectic, vibrant charm of the historic Garland Avenue shops).

  • "Monroe Street Bridge" – soft pink and purple with pops of blue speckled through (evoking the lit-up glow of the bridge reflected on the river at dusk).

  • "Pavilion Lights" – deep, rich base with bursts of neon pink and electric blue-green (capturing the bold lights of the U.S. Pavilion against a dark Spokane night sky).
