Join us for another fun natural dye class with Justin! In this class we'll be using Lac and Quebracho Yellow.

Lac is an insect derived dye that produces crimsons to burgundy reds to deep purples. The colors are similar to those from cochineal but warmer, softer, and more muted. You can choose to add soda ash for a plum purple, or iron for a blackened purple.

Quebracho Yellow is a tree with a concentrated tannin content in the dense wood. The dye from it can vary in colors from coral, warm red-brown, yellow or green.
