Inox stainless steel reeds with 12 dents per inch, available in two weaving widths: 15 3/4 in (40 cm) and 27 3/4 in (70 cm). Stainless steel resists rust, so the dents stay smooth and clean against your warp.
The size listed is the weaving width. Each reed's overall length is about 1 in longer, so the 15 3/4 in reed measures roughly 16 3/4 in end to end and the 27 3/4 in reed roughly 28 3/4 in. These reeds fit the beaters of most popular loom brands. Before ordering, measure the space inside your beater to make sure the overall length fits, especially if your beater has uprights at each end.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
