Curly and colorful wool locks! These British longwool locks are a mixture of varying breeds with some long and some short locks present. The curly structure of these locks makes them perfect to use in felting, spinning, carding, and doll-making projects. Card the locks out to spin a woolen yarn, incorporate the locks in as you spin for a curly art yarn, add them in for texture in your wet and needle felting projects, or thrum them into a mitten project. You'll love the texture and color of these whimsical locks.
Please note: light to heavy natural vegetation is present in these locks. We recommend you test the colorfastness before crafting with these locks as the colors may bleed for the first few washes. Hand washing recommended before use.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
