The Glimakra Julia Drawloom turns a Glimakra Julia countermarch floor loom into a shaft drawloom, opening the door to figured and patterned weaving with individually controlled pattern shafts. It is an add-on for a Julia you already own, not a standalone loom.
The kit includes the Myrehed shaft drawloom unit, the loom extension that mounts it to the back of the loom, the pattern shafts, and the weights that drive them. Shaft and pattern heddles are sold separately, so please plan for those in your order. A Julia countermarch loom is required to add the drawloom.
Made in Sweden and shipped direct from Glimakra USA. Because it is built to order, please allow a lead time, and reach out if you would like help confirming it fits your loom.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
