What’s the Stitch About Knitting Machines?
Let's talk about knitting machines! What are they, how do they work, and does it count as hand crafting if you use one? Why choose a knitting machine vs knitting by hand?
With our Emilia rigid heddle loom, you can just pick up and go. The folding frame and optional carry bag make this an ideal choice for students and travelers. Now you can weave anywhere! The strong birch frame and metal ratchets hold a tight, even tension for great sheds.
The Emilia is wonderful if you have limited space. Just clamp it to a table, or use with an Emilia Floor Stand when you are weaving. When it is not in use, just fold it up for easy storage. The Emilia comes in either a 19” or a 13” weaving width, and is Glimakra's only rigid heddle model with the option of adding a second heddle bracket. 8, 10, and 12 dent heddles available in both sizes.
It includes a 10 dent heddle, shuttle, warping peg, two clamps, sley hook, instruction booklet and a threader.
