This 23 micron Merino Wool Top is soft, smooth, and ready to spin, knit, crochet, felt, or blend. Each color is richly dyed and easy to work with, making it a favorite for fiber artists of all kinds.
Our Merino is sourced from non-mulesed flocks in either the Cape of South Africa or South America, depending on availability. The wool is dyed using commercial acid dyes that meet the Oeko Tex 100 standard for quality and safety.
With a full range of colors available, there is something here for every project and palette!
Please note that color may vary slightly between batches due to the nature of natural fiber. We recommend ordering a sample if you need an exact match. All quantities will be sent in one continuous length unless requested otherwise.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
