The Extra Slow whorl, often called the Jumbo whorl, is the slowest in the Kromski magnetic flyer lineup. Reach for it when you want low-twist yarn: bulky singles, art yarn, thick-and-thin, novelty, and chunky three-ply. It is also the whorl most spinners pair with the Magnetic Jumbo Flyer Set when filling jumbo bobbins with thick yarn.
Two ratio grooves on one whorl. The slower groove gives barely-twisted singles for chunky and art yarn. The faster groove suits soft worsted-weight singles and balanced bulky three-ply. The slow ratios also help when plying delicate singles where you want to add minimal twist.
Fits the Kromski Fantasia and Sonata Encore
This is a magnetic-flyer whorl. It will fit any Kromski wheel with a magnetic flyer head:

- Original Sonata wheels upgraded with the Magnetic Sonata Flyer Head Set
If you have an original (pre-Encore) Sonata with the traditional non-magnetic mother of all, this whorl will not fit until you add the magnetic flyer upgrade.
Ratios on this whorl
Drive wheel diameter changes the effective ratio, so the same whorl produces slightly different ratios on each wheel.
