The 14 yard warping board is Schacht's full-size measuring frame for weavers warping shaft looms and longer projects. The frame is 36 In across, with pegs laid out to measure warps up to 14 yards long in a single continuous winding. Pegs run along the top and bottom of the frame, so you can place the warp cross wherever your threading calls for it.

Hardwood dowels are tenoned and pressed into solid maple uprights to handle the strain of warp yarn under tension. The board ships disassembled and goes together with simple hand-tightened hardware, then comes back apart for flat storage between projects. Schacht ships the maple unfinished. You can leave it bare for everyday use, or apply your own oil finish using the instructions in the box.

Schacht has been building spinning and weaving tools in Boulder, Colorado since 1969. The hardwood for the boards comes from sustainably-raised forests in northern Michigan and Canada. Designed to take decades of warping under tension and to be repairable when something needs replacing.
