Huasco Cotón Glisten is a hand-painted cotton with a fine lurex filament twisted through it, so the color shifts in long painterly waves and catches the light as the piece moves. Fourteen shades named for the way light behaves, from Sparkling and Shimmer through Twinkle and Dazzling.
Cotton gives it drape and coolness, and that's exactly what a summer top or a shawl wants. Every skein is hand-painted, so for anything wider than a sock you'll want to work from two, alternating every two rows. A shawl runs two to three skeins.
