Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted Yarn is a 100% wool yarn that comes in an impressive selection of colors.  One of the most versatile yarns, it is great for knitting sweaters, hats, mittens, and more.  It has wonderful stitch definition and is great for projects that call for cables, Gansey, or other textured projects.  Nature Spun Worsted is also wonderful for felting.  Weavers love Nature Spun yarn too, since it works great for both warp and weft for projects that use a worsted weight yarn.  Brown Sheep yarn is 100% grown and spun in the USA!

Brown Sheep Yarns are permanently moth proofed using a non-insecticide; from their FAQ

We use a non-insecticide chemical called Ecolan CEA to moth proof our wool. It is added to the dye bath at the same time as the dyes and is “permanent” in the sense that it will not wash, rub, or dry clean off the wool. The treatment works as an insect resist agent by making the wool protein unpalatable to the wool moth larvae.
