ChiaoGoo TWIST red cables are the memory-free, multi-strand steel cables (coated in red nylon) that connect ChiaoGoo interchangeable tips into a circular needle. They work with both TWIST and SPIN tips.
Which join size do I need?
Match the cable's join to your tip size:
- Small [S] fits US 2 to 8 tips (2.75 to 5 mm)
- Large [L] fits US 9 to 15 tips (5.5 to 10 mm)
- For US 000 to 1.5 tips, use the Mini join cables: TWIST Mini cables.
Which length do I need?
The length listed is the cable itself, not the finished circular needle. Add your tip length to the cable for the total: 4 inch tips add 8 inches, 5 inch tips add 10 inches. So an 8 inch cable with 4 inch tips makes a 16 inch circular. Cables run from 8 to 50 inches, and each has a lifeline hole.
Compatibility and accessories
TWIST and SPIN tips, cables, and accessories interchange as long as the join size matches. Join two cables into a longer one, or add end stoppers, with the connectors, adapters, and stoppers.
