Create your own custom cat pillow with the Flat Cat Kit! Flat Cat by Amy Herring is knit in the round and is mostly just stockinette other than the initial shaping and ears. This cat is designed to be a canvas for your own embroidery. Stitch suggestions and drawings are included as ideas for how to decorate your own Flat Cat.
Kit Includes: 1 hank of Berroco Vintage Worsted and 1-2 balls of Fyberspates Cumulus depending on size chosen. Flat Cat by Amy Herring Pattern.
Additional Items Needed: 4.0 mm (US 6) circular needles, 32” // 80 cm (or length preferred for magic loop), Craft/pillow stuffing, tapestry needle, scissors, 2 stitch holders (or scrap yarn). Embroidery thread.
Approximate finished sizes (including ears):
- Small: 5” x 6” // 10 x 14 cm
- Medium: 6” x 8” // 15 x 21.5 cm
- Large: 7.5” x 10” // 19 x 25.5 cm
- X-Large: 10” x 13” // 25 x 33 cm
