Prestige is Lana Gatto's pure cashmere line, spun in Italy and put up in 25 g balls. Cashmere is the warmest thing you can put next to your skin for its weight, and this one's undiluted. It blooms after the first wash into something softer than it feels on the ball.
The small ball is what makes it approachable. At 82 yards each you'll need two to three for a pair of mitts and three to four for a cowl, so you buy exactly what the piece needs.

How many balls do I need?
Each 25 g ball is 82 yards. Plan on two to three balls for a pair of mitts and three to four for a cowl. For larger pieces, check your pattern's yardage and divide by 82.
Will it pill?
All cashmere can pill a little at friction points, especially early on. Gentle hand washing and a sweater comb keep it looking new, and the fabric softens and blooms with each wash.
