What’s the Stitch About Knitting Machines?
Let's talk about knitting machines! What are they, how do they work, and does it count as hand crafting if you use one? Why choose a knitting machine vs knitting by hand?
Susurro is our newest yarn from Malabrigo! Susurro (whisper in Spanish) is a whimsically breezy DK/Sport weight yarn composed of 50/25/25 Mulberry Silk, Merino, and Linen. This delightful yarn has 325yds in each 100g hand-dyed skein. Soft and light, Susurro has a marvelous balance between the texture of the linen and the silkiness of the Merino which gives the yarn an outstanding depth of color with an almost metallic sheen.
Great for: Shawls, scarves, accessories, lace, textured stitches, cables, lightweight garments.
Knit the beautiful Macrophylla Shawl designed by Mia Rinde. Aptly named after the Big Leaf Hydrangea, this shawl embodies the dense false whorls and large creamy flowers when knitted with Malabrigo Susurro.
Please Note: Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. In the tagged (*) colors, the skeins may vary one from the other even within the same bag. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
