Short Description: Steffi is a custom fitted skirt. Warning, there is a little bit of math involved but don’t let it scare you. You’ll take 3 measurements from your body (or a skirt whose fit you’d like to replicate) and then follow each step to get the numbers you need. You’ll fill in the blanks with these numbers and your pattern is written! The easy part is knitting it.
Gauge: Custom depending on yarn and needles.
Finished Measurements/Sizes: Custom
Materials Used:
Suggested Yarns: DK weight (100gr/165 yds); sample: 28" waist, 37" hips, 18" length – required 6 skeins DK or Worsted weight yarn.
Needle Size: Circ needles (shorter than your waist measurement; 24-29") size needed to obtain gauge that you like. Using recommended yarns this will be between 4 and 5 sts per inch on US 5–8 needles.
