Construction

  • The cami is knit from the top down. Neck opening is completed in a twisted rib.
  • Shaping is achieved by the equidistant placement of increases and decreases which also creates a chevron pattern.
  • Stripes transition into each other with slipped stitches (basic mosaic knitting).
  • Once the desired length is reached, partial shaping is completed to fill in four empty triangles at the hem of the cami. They are knit separately back and forth.
  • The hemline is finished off with twisted rib, for which the stitches have to be picked up around the garment.
  • Stitches for the straps are picked up at the top of triangles, then the straps are worked in a ribbed pattern and grafted to the cami.
