Winter's Beach Cardi by Drea Renee Knits is one of my favorite projects that I've ever made! I used The Fibre Company Lore, and it's the absolute perfect choice for this pattern. This is not a super soft yarn like a merino, and that's what I love about it. Lore is a nice woolly Romney Lambswool that holds it's shape beautifully. I love the tweedy look of this yarn!  This pattern is so well written and once you get past the first row everything makes sense and comes together. With tons of cables and texture this is the perfect everyday cardi for cozy season. This pattern in knit from the bottom up to the shoulders, then sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knit down.

Do a gauge swatch before starting! I'm a loose knitter and went down a size in each of the required needles.

Kit includes: Winter's Beach Cardi pattern by Drea Renee Knits and enough Fibre Company Lore in the Courage color for your selected size (see sizing below).

Additional items needed: Please note check your gauge, I went down a needle size for both needles.

Main Fabric: US 8/5 mm – 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm circular and preferred needles for small circum. knitting (Magic Loop or DPNs), plus a spare for the 3-needle bind off. Ribbing: US 6/4 mm - 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm circular and preferred needles for small circum. knitting (Magic Loop or DPNs), Stitch markers (10), row counter (recommended), cable needle, scissors, smooth waste yarn for Afterthought pockets and lifelines.
