A breezy sleeveless top with a classic fit and a slightly cropped silhouette in a crisp cotton-linen blend, defined by fine horizontal welts and minimalist rolled edge details.

It’s knit from the top down, starting at the upper back down to the back part of the armhole, then picking up sts for the front shoulders working flat down to the neckline, connected with CO sts. After reaching the underarms, front and back pieces are joined to work the body in the round with casting on sts.

Gentle waist shaping is worked by decreasing along side seams (optional but recommended).

The details and structure of the top come mostly from the finishing, worked with smaller needles - a single purl ridge, welts, and a rolled edges. All rolled edges are finished using
a decorative Icelandic bind off - it’s relatively stretchy and creates a subtle I-cord-like rounded edge. It can be substituted with any other elastic bind off method if you wish.

Fit: The top is designed to be worn with approx. 0-2’’/0-5 cm recommended positive ease at the chest. If your chest is proportionally on the larger size compared to your shoulder width (or upper bust) measurement, consider choosing a size with less than the recommended ease at the chest for a better fit at the shoulders and overall - choose a size based on your shoulder width and armhole depth.
