Brenn is Flax & Twine's 5mm three ply twisted cotton rope, made for macrame that has to hold up, like a plant hanger carrying a full pot or a wall hanging that's meant to stay up for years. Three plies twisted together tie crisp, round knots and keep their shape under weight.
Each bundle is about 30 yards of rope, which is roughly one plant hanger, so pick up two or three of a color for a larger wall hanging. It's spun from pre-consumer recycled cotton and certified to OEKO-TEX. Untwist the plies at the ends for a fuller fringe, and wrap a little tape around a cut end while you work to keep it tidy. For smaller pieces and softer fringe, the 3mm single strand cord is the lighter choice.
