The Glimakra Myrehed Shaft Drawloom adds true drawloom pattern control to a Glimakra Standard floor loom. It lets you lift individual pattern units to weave figured cloth, blocks, and detailed motifs beyond what a shaft loom alone can produce. Designed by Ulla and Bengt Myrehed, it mounts on the back of the Standard loom using the drawloom loom extension, and it is made to pair with a vertical countermarch Standard.
The shaft drawloom comes ready for pattern weaving and can be expanded with additional shaft units as your designs grow. Choose the width to match your Standard loom. A drawloom loom extension is required to mount it, and shaft and pattern heddles are sold separately, so please plan for both.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
