Flopsy the Bunny is a knitting pattern leaflet from the Jody Long Snugaboo & Bubbakins Collection, with everything you need to knit your own irresistibly soft, floppy-eared bunny. Worked in plush Snugaboo chenille yarn, the finished Flopsy stands about 30 cm (11¾ in) tall sitting up, with contrast pink inner ears, paw pads, and a fluffy bobble tail.
A clever designer touch most listings won't mention: Flopsy is knitted with the purl side as the right side, because that reverse face is noticeably fluffier and more velvety, giving the bunny its brushed, snuggly look (the pattern even has you mark it with a locking stitch marker so you don't lose track). The eyes and nose are embroidered (chain-stitch eyes drawn gently together to sculpt a dimensional face) rather than plastic safety eyes, a thoughtful, baby-friendly detail for a nursery gift.
