Add a third or fourth shaft to your Louet Erica and open up a whole new range of weaving patterns. While the Erica comes standard with 2 shafts, adding a third lets you weave twills and more complex patterns, and a fourth takes you further into designs like herringbone, houndstooth, and many traditional drafts that simply aren't achievable on 2 shafts.
Each kit adds one shaft and is sized to fit your specific loom. Purchase one to reach 3 shafts or two to reach 4. Heddles are not included, as not every weaver will need additional ones. The 200 Texsolv heddles included with your Erica are sufficient for many projects even at 3 or 4 shafts. If your weaving style calls for more, extra heddles are available separately in bundles of 100.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
