The small parts that wear, snap or go missing on a Jane. All five fit every Jane width, and Louet uses the same part across the range.
- Plastic shaft side caps the end of a shaft bar. Sixteen come with the loom and they are the part most often cracked in transit.
- Toggle is the wooden peg a cord anchors to. The pivot is the usual failure point.
- Beater support is the metal arm the beater swings on.
- Star knob is the M6 hand knob on the castle side.
- Roller set replaces the rollers the shaft cords ride over. Worth checking if cords keep jumping off.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
