Introducing 11 multi-color Merino tops inspired by the captivating hues of Aurora Borealis. This centuries-old wool has a soft and smooth texture and a fine micron count which makes it lovely to craft with, and a good choice for people with wool sensitivities. Not only does it provide insulation for whatever adventure life takes you on, but it is also moisture-wicking so you can stay comfortable and dry year-round. Your finished yarn will provide lovely stitch definition, a slight drape, and irresistible smoothness. Wool is a sustainable fiber, so create with a clean conscience knowing what you create will be symbiotic with the earth.

Spinning tip: a good way to preserve the colors of the multi-color tops is to spin from the fold. Start by tearing the top in half lengthwise. Then break off manageable pieces, open the pieces up, and fold one piece over your dominant index finder using your thumb and other fingers to hold the piece in place. Finally, spin from the flat or tip of your index finger using your other hand to draft long or short. This method will keep the colors in place and recent them from blending together too much. For a look that is more tonal with a watercolor effect (pictured), spin directly from the end of the top.
