Fiber Content: 35% Superfine Merino Wool, 15%Cashmere, 25% Baby Alpaca, 25% Mulberry Silk

The Primaveral

Florence. Late February. The Arno still carried winter in its current, but something had shifted.

I was standing in the Boboli Gardens at dawn. Frost on the gravel paths. And then... there it was. A single almond tree, blooming. Defiant. Pale petals catching light that hadn't existed the day before.

Spring doesn't arrive. It suggests itself.

This gradient is that suggestion.

The composition

  • 35% Superfine Merino: the foundation. Dependable. Like an old friend who summers in Provence.
  • 15% Cashmere: because some luxuries aren't negotiable.
  • 25% Baby Alpaca: soft. Impossibly soft. The kind of soft that makes cashmere glance over its shoulder.
  • 25% Mulberry Silk: light made tangible. The civilized silk. Cultivated. Refined. Knows which fork to use.

The gradient

Luminous tones. Gentle transitions. Colors that don't shout... they dawn. Fresh as the first crocus through snow. Graceful as morning light crossing a marble floor.

The approach

Spin from the fold: distinct color sections. Intentional. Architectural. Spin from the center: long, flowing shifts. A conversation between hues.

The fiber doesn't dictate. It collaborates.

The applications

  • Fine art spinning for those who understand yarn as medium
  • Weaving with the patience of a Renaissance cartographer
  • Sculptural felting. Because sometimes fiber should occupy space, and hold it.

The truth

This is not winter. This is winter remembering that it cannot last.

Wrap yourself in the thaw.
