Craft with every color in the seven seas! Bamboo fiber provides a natural sheen and softness that feels and drapes like silk but is more affordable and more durable. The fibers have a round structure which creates a yarn with excellent stitch definition and a garment that is soft and smooth against the skin. The fibers are naturally antimicrobial and antifungal which allows your finished pieces to be more hygienic and fresher smelling. The fibers are highly absorbent, wicking away moisture from the body three to four times faster than cotton. When it's hot and humid outside, bamboo will keep you drier, cooler, and more comfortable. Compared to cotton, hemp, wool, or synthetic fibers, bamboo is more breathable and thermal regulating because of its unique structure. In addition to its resistance to excessive wrinkling, bamboo can also tolerate warmer temperatures when being washed and dried without shrinking. With this silk substitute, you can design beautiful, cooling garments for year-round enjoyment.Â
