This delightful blend of wool and viscose fiber produces a tweed effect that is perfect for hand spinning, weaving, wet and dry felting, knitting, and crocheting! The viscose fiber rejects wool dye, which means you can overdye these carded tops to produce unique saturated colors with special effects.

The best part about these tops is that we've made them wonderful to dye. Each colorway has a natural white wool base with dyed viscose so you can create your very own contrasting or subtle tweed creations.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
