The Duncan Carders Fine Fiber Brush is a specialized drum carder accessory designed to help you get the most out of your Ashford drum carder. This packer-style brush attaches above the large drum and gently presses fibers down into the carding cloth as the drum rotates, allowing you to card more fiber per pass and achieve denser, more consistent batts — especially helpful when working with fine or slippery fibers like mohair, alpaca, and angora.
Ideal for spinners and fiber artists who regularly process fine wools or low-crimp fibers, the fine fiber brush helps control and smooth fibers during carding, reducing flyaways and improving blend uniformity.
