A clamp-on counter that measures yarn as it runs past, in yards or meters, and beeps when it reaches a length you set. It isn't tied to a spinner, so it works on anything you can run yarn through.
Set a target length
The alert is what makes it more than a counter. Set the length, start winding, and it tells you when you're there. That's how you split a skein into two even halves for a two-ply, divide a cake into matching sock balls, or measure out sectional warp without counting revolutions.
Enter your yarn's wraps per inch from the card that comes with it and the reading tightens up. One button resets it between runs.
The yarn rides on low friction disks rather than a groove, which is why cobweb singles and bulky art yarn both track through it without being dragged or pinched.
