Holds the spools for sectional warping, one for every thread in a section, and comes with 32 cardboard bobbins. That's up to 32 ends per inch on a 1 inch sectional beam, or 16 ends per cm on a 2 cm beam.
The threads run from the bottom of each bobbin to the raddle at the top of the rack, then through the warp tension regulator onto the sectional beam. Wind each bobbin with the number of sections times your warp length, plus a little extra. The Louet hand bobbin winder fills them.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
